Please download my Anti-Malware Toolkit and get the package that matches your Operating System. Then follow the directions in the PC Cleanup guide. After that, please post a HijackThis log.

Win32 is the "aka" of a 32 Bit Windows Operating system. Might just be corrupt or a form of virus that IS attacking win32 itself. But win32 is not a virus lol.

There are several variants of Win32 that will not let you use Internet Explorer. Other browsers work though. Hope it isn't a severe one, that corrupts windows system files as well as system restore archives... You can get rid of it even if it is, but the procedure is a bit more complicated.

I had one of these the other day. My virus protections couldn't find it, so I just restored my Windows partition to a few days ago, and that worked fine.
